On November 14, 2023 the Sustainable Finance Research Group at the University of Hamburg in cooperation with "Sustainable Finance Research Platform" (Wissenschaftsplattform Sustainable Finance, WPSF), the scientific accompanying project "Sustainable Finance and Climate Protection (SFCP)" of the BMBF funding measure "Climate Protection and Finance" (Klimaschutz und Finanzwirtschaft, KlimFi), and Finance City Hamburg, is organizing an event as part of the Sustainable Finance Summit 2023.
Under the title "Nachhaltigkeitsberichterstattung und Impact: Regulierung, Messung, Wirkung" (Sustainability reporting and impact: regulation, measurement, effect) various keynotes and panel discussions will take place from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm at the Chamber of Crafts at Holstenwall 12 in Hamburg. Contributions from Prof. Dr. Alexander Bassen, Prof. Dr. Timo Busch, and Prof. Dr. Kerstin Lopatta will also be featured. The complete agenda can be viewed and downloaded at the end of this article.
WPSF research accompanies and informs the process of sustainable transformation at the interface between the financial and real economies. The platform's research agenda is strongly influenced by political and practical discourse and continuously involves its stakeholders. The accompanying SFCP project focuses on the scientific synthesis and networking of 14 joint projects in the research areas of climate and sustainable finance. Furthermore, the SFCP project establishes a dialogue with actors from politics and finance on the research results achieved within the projects.
