On April 29, 2026, the 2nd Northern German Capital Markets Forum took place at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce. Under the theme “Northern Germany in Transition – Between Tradition and Global Upheavals,” experts discussed current economic, geopolitical, and financial challenges in the region. One of the speakers was Professor Timo Busch. In his presentation “Academia: 20 Years of ESG Finance: Academic Findings, New Impulses, Future Prospects,” he provided an overview of research in the field of ESG finance and highlighted key developments.
