Prof. Dr. Busch in the Bundestag

On April 9, 2024, Prof. Dr. Timo Busch took part in the Green Party's expert discussion “Sustainable investing – from greenwashing to real impact” on the topic of “Curbing greenwashing – the role of regulation and supervision.” The event took place at the Bundestag in Berlin.

The discussion focused primarily on how the regulation of sustainable financial products can be developed in a meaningful way and what contribution financial supervision can make to protecting consumers from false promises and curbing greenwashing.

Lisa Scheitza and Timo Busch recently published an article on Article 9 of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), in which they make clear recommendations for the further development of the legislation.
