On November 14, 2023, the Sustainable Finance Research Group at the University of Hamburg, in cooperation with the "Sustainable Finance Science Platform (WPSF)" and the accompanying scientific project "Sustainable Finance and Climate Protection (SFCP)" of the BMBF funding measure "Climate Protection and Finance (KlimFi)" as well as Finance City Hamburg, will organize an event as part of the Sustainable Finance Summit 2023.
Under the title "Sustainability Reporting and Impact: Regulation, Measurement, Effect," various keynote speeches and panel discussions will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Chamber of Skilled Crafts at Holstenwall 12 in Hamburg. Among them will be presentations from Prof. Dr. Alexander Bassen, Prof. Dr. Timo Busch, and Prof. Dr. Kerstin Lopatta. The complete agenda can be viewed and downloaded at the end of this article.
The WPSF's research accompanies and informs the process of sustainable transformation at the interface of finance and the real economy. The platform's research agenda is characterized by a strong connection to political and practical discourse and continuously engages its stakeholders. The accompanying SFCP project focuses on the scientific synthesis and networking of 14 collaborative projects in the research areas of climate and sustainable finance. Furthermore, the SFCP project establishes a dialogue with stakeholders from politics and finance on the research results achieved within the projects.
